For the poor ones

Thursday, June 26, 2008

This post is dedicated to the poor ones whom is very eager to learn but couldn’t afford to get books, if you are smart enough you will know where you can get really good books online. To be frank, what you find in search engine is always what you don’t need.

You google a subject, e.g. Fluid Mechanics: a subject where engineers learn how much effort we need to put into out pee so that it’ll shoot up high. You might get lots of hits, and after reading 20 over lines, suddenly, please pay ### for the remaining of the document. Doesn’t this piss you off?

Wiki will only give brief explaination of the subject that matter, but the real deal is still in the books. So without further ado, I would like to help you In introducing some of the dirty tricks which I use. I’m sorry for other fields, but I help more to Engineering

This site is where I get my goodies program for engineering purpoise…

CSC Fastrak: This is a program most engineer want, but then again, some prefer to write their own, but I’m lazy. Find magnitude, they are really good team whom provide free service for those who cannot afford expensive programs.

There are lots more you can find, but I’m lazy and this is my limit. However, if you owns a company, don’t fuck things up and get these, go for original!

What I want in my house

Wednesday, June 25, 2008

Well, why do we always follow other people when it comes to building a house, an architect may or may not have his unique idea on how a house look like, but the ones who really need to know is ourselves, and i bet you never knew that. We know ourself, and there’s never enough to satisfy that urge to get what we always want. That’s where other people’s role came in. You go to other people’s house and see an intelligent design, and you see that it’s good, then this come into your mind, ah, I must get that, and this  pile of other people’s suggestion made up all kinds of whacky design that will soon be your house. Don’t kid me when you say that a small apartment is an ideal place, because so much space is wasted. Of course, it’s like what the late George Carlin said about stuff.

Okay, I honestly don’t think I need a big house, and so goes the fence. Now, do you really believe the presence of a fence will keep people out? That piece of structure is just rubbish! That’s the first thing people know how to overcome. If you need a hint from me, ok here is it, don’t pick the locks! Aim for the ironmogery. Neh, the thing that binds them to the wall. Build a garage if you want to be safe, you get rid of the fence, thus, bigger house!

I always wanted a house filled with misery. Yes, to all those who come there, filled with hidden doors, hidden passage. Vault embeded into walls, and security system behind protraits.  Secret passages. This is an interesting ideas, I don’t even know what I am going to be when I grow up, if I happens to get into the ‘dark’ side, well, this might be valuable. I happened to know how to design tunnel.

The doors might have to look like the walls, was thinking of something like hidden entrance. Just to keep other people out. Friends, family coming for a visit won’t be able to get in. Buglar should have hard time too, I love the Egyptian ideas, killing all their builders so that the secret die with them.

Law breaking. The construction law is ridiculous, you need someone to approve that your design is fine. Why?  Isn’t we all using the same system? Now we need to submit it to them so that it’s certified to be inhibitable, this is total bulls*it. What they are doing with building they think it’s fine to live in? Look, and that’s all, of course, if you want to accelerate it, you need to practice what the chinese did to get things done, red packets.  That’s the only reason they are there!

New materials! ETFE(http://www2.dupont.com/Products/en_RU/Tefzel_ETFE_fluoropolymer_resin_en.html) is a good new product I might consider since the workmanship is way lower than glass. Not durable yet but Do Pont outdid themselves again.  I was wondering, why do they not want to use wood in construction? Wood is everywhere, they use it for formwork, then throw it away. Waste! There’s so much restriction now that wood will be last thing on your mind. For your information, curtain burns faster!

What else? Bigger toilets, definitely. Bigger beds, and one awesome cooling system! He he. There’s simply so much things in my mind

Things that I was wondering

Tuesday, June 24, 2008

There are nothing as certainty in engineering practice. We assume a lot of things and many if not all things in our practice. There’s no sure thing in this practice, and in fact, this is true with all the profession on earth. Assumptions! We use all kind of data available and assume that’s it. The soil we stand on is nothing more than an assumption.

Lets take an example, if you build a table, would you consider much about how much it could hold? If one leg can’t hold it, we and another, and then another just till a point that it’ll be what we wish it to be. Yes we assume as much,  statistical modes are used and thus it’s the true thing.

Why does no one assume that I was correct? Life is unfair!

How long more till I can finally see piggy? I miss making fun of her~!

Anyway, would you risk living in a house where a person assume that it’s safe?

Awkward

Sunday, June 22, 2008

I’m not sure if this is a curse or blessing that the last time I’m back, I’m with the most probabaly sweetest person I’ve ever known, well, I worship her for her beauty then, I like her, and fortunately she do too, till the day we went our seperate ways. Well, first week passed for her, it’s daily on the phone with her, then the frequency decreases, till none, life is really complicated for me.

Just saw her and her friends a moment back and it was awkward. Her friends looked so hot! Young girls are so damn tempting! I panicked when I am tempted. It’s just like seeeing an ex. For a while there, old feelings came back, and I do wonder, why it feels like that?

Arrgh… no matter what, I’m off to bed.

To think about, its been a year since then although Iliterally knew her my entire life. My life is complicated.

Thanks Mary for this

Okay, I have to post this in both blogs because there are some folk out there don’t know both of it, so, I need to copy twiceThe boss lady of this shop just invited some folk to enjoy her delicacy, and I forgot to thank her for this wondrous treat.

Okay, in stead of taking pictures like ’serious’ bloggers do, I did something rather different, I eat and have my little bro do all that work, and this post has been in draft for a week already. I am so busy with everything else these days

I forgot the drinks list, so if you readers happened to stop by the shop, in delta mall, please buy buy and buy and also tell me the name.

Okay here’s a preview of the menu, the only downside of the place is that there are limited seat, but that also is an advantage as you won’t hang around in one shop for a whole hour, as you can get it and move around the building.

At this point in my post, suddenly my notebook failed, so no more pictures, anyway, I think I had a nice time. Thanks all.
